It happened on Saturday evening: the 38-year-old man from Nuoro was in a state of total unconsciousness . The vehicle, which was actually parked in the roadway, was noticed by passers-by, who alerted the officers.
The intervention of the Road Accident Section of the Local Police avoided the worst: the driver was in a drug overdose . An 118 ambulance arrived immediately, which averted the man's death.
The license was withdrawn pending laboratory analyses.
