They occupied 30 percent more than the volumes granted , built reinforced concrete parts, an external staircase and closed the top floor without the necessary authorizations, and continued the construction site despite the order to suspend the work. For this reason, the owners of land in via Risorgimento in Pirri and the managers of the construction company that was carrying out the construction of a building ended up under accusation and the property was seized .

The agents of the building surveillance section of the Local Police, under the coordination of Major Massimiliano Caboni, went into action yesterday at the end of the investigations started almost a year ago. The police carried out the preventive seizure order ordered by the investigating judge Giuseppe Pintori at the request of the prosecutor Rossella Spano. According to the reconstruction of the investigators, the three-storey construction occupied a volume 30 percent higher than authorized , also reaching a part of land owned by the Municipality.

During the various checks, irregularities emerged regarding some of the work carried out. The violation of the procedures, according to the accusations, also triggered an order to suspend the construction site, ordered by the municipal private building office. But the work continued . The judge, in the seizure order, highlights how violations of the building regulations have emerged in various respects and that this behavior could continue. Hence the need for preventive seizure of the property under construction. The suspects will now have the opportunity to defend themselves and request the release of the property.
