Cagliari, nightmarish traffic due to a new accident on the median axis
Another rear-end collision at the Genneruxi junction and yet another evening of chaos
Rear-end collision, rescue, queue. Today, like yesterday, with the same situation as the previous day. Traveling along the median axis in Cagliari is increasingly a gamble with luck. The latest incident dates back to this evening, just before 7.30pm. The balance of the collision, which took place in the direction of Poetto at the junction for Genneruxi, is one injured in yellow code.
The queue, on the other hand, almost reaches the exit on via Jenner. Once again, fortunately, as in the last recent episodes, no serious conditions have been reported. The municipal police officers are on site to carry out the surveys and try to manage the traffic.
But for hundreds of motorists there is no alternative: they remain in queues waiting for the vehicles to be removed. Because in the meantime, given the rush hour, alternative roads have also become clogged (such as via dei Valenzani, taken by those hoping to avoid the cork). And even today Cagliari is experiencing a difficult day in terms of traffic.
