He approached a young prostitute in Viale Elmas, in Cagliari, and, having not found an "agreement", he sexually harassed her, groping her. Thus a 47-year-old ended up in prison on heavy charges of sexual assault.

The episode occurred during the night. It was the woman who asked for help after being the victim of a man's attentions: she managed to get away, and still in shock she called the police.

Thus it was the soldiers of the mobile radio unit of the Cagliari company who tracked down the 47-year-old, resident in the municipality of Elmas.

The military then reconstructed the episode and took up the victim's complaint. The prosecutor on duty ordered the arrest with precautionary custody in prison. The validation hearing will be held on Monday.
