Moments of fear this morning in via Santa Gilla in Cagliari, right in front of the small square of the headquarters of the Unione Sarda, where an 82-year-old woman was hit by a car while crossing the street. The woman, a resident of Cagliari, remained conscious but was transported in red code to the hospital by the 118 staff, who intervened promptly on the spot. The seriousness of the code is linked above all to the dynamics of the accident.
The local police are carrying out the legal surveys to reconstruct exactly what happened. In the meantime, traffic has gone haywire. Via Santa Gilla has been completely blocked, with numerous Arst buses and cars stopped in a queue.
Traffic from Viale Trieste and Viale Trento was diverted onto Via Sant'Avendrace, causing further delays throughout the area.
