Cagliari, construction site resumed on Viale Marconi: traffic at a standstill, very long queues on the embankment

Very heavy traffic slowdowns on Viale Marconi in Cagliari, due to the work for the construction of a shopping center. The construction site in the Is Pontis Paris area has resumed since this morning, which has led to a narrowing of the carriageway in the direction of Quartu: inconveniences are inevitable, with traffic almost paralyzed .

Already two weeks ago, for a sewer connection, there had been strong slowdowns due to the works . Which had mainly affected the stretch of road towards Cagliari, in Viale Marconi. Those filmed today, however, are on the opposite side of the road.

Traffic has been rapidly at a standstill since the morning. The line of cars, which ends in front of the fire station, follows the entire embankment and begins well before the entrance to Viale Marconi: kilometre-long queues up to the bridge of the median axis . And the times to travel the road are very long, up to 45 minutes.
