They prevented the flames from devouring a bar and rescued the bomber who became a human torch: one of the two agents threw himself on the man engulfed in flames and his colleague then saved his life. A story of courage, a spirit of sacrifice and great values that of the assistant chief Marco Marras and the agent chosen Loris Tola, rewarded this morning with the promotion for honor and a reward for civil valor.
They were taken as an example by the police commissioner of Cagliari, Paolo Rossi, during the ceremony for the feast of the foundation of the State Police . Other honors and awards were then conferred on other policemen of different specialties, protagonists of investigations, operations and important interventions. "They represent the spirit of the police and our motto: always be there", said the commissioner.
