He showed up at the Fiera's vaccination hub in Cagliari to receive the first dose of the vaccine, but the documents were those of a friend of his no vax.

An unemployed 30-year-old was arrested yesterday afternoon in Cagliari. According to the police, a no vax friend had given him an identity card and health card so that he could receive the vaccine for him. In return, she would pay him a dinner at the restaurant.

On the identity card, the photograph had been replaced with that of the thirty-year-old. When her turn came, the man showed the documents to the nurse, but next to her was a policeman who immediately noticed the fake and exposed the impostor.

The agents of the Flying Squad, present on site to ensure the regularity of the operations and to protect the health personnel, arrested the 30-year-old, an offender for whom house arrest was ordered.

The man must answer for the crimes of substitution of person, false proof of identity as a Public Official and concurrence in the use of the false document.

The friend no vax of the arrested, a 40-year-old manager of a car rental from Cagliari, was instead denounced.
