Nobody forgets Sa Marigosa, which is trying to restart after the big fire last week. A solidarity competition is coming to allow those who manage the important reality to get back on their feet stronger than before.

The organizations of fruit and vegetable producers in Sardinia have in fact launched a fundraiser for the reconstruction and relaunch of the Riola Sardo agri-food company, heavily damaged by the fire which hit, last 6 June, machinery and products inside the warehouses surrounded by 'fire. Only thanks to the prompt intervention of the Oristano firefighters were the flames put out, even if the final damage was considerably extensive.

A week after the events, eight regional fruit and vegetable POs, the ninth being that of Sa Marigosa, started this solidarity operation which not only aims to collect resources, through online donations, but also to promote the purchase of products of the Sinis company, especially melons and watermelons in these summer months, in the company sales point and in the many supermarkets on the island. «Every contribution that consumers are able to give is fundamental – the POs specify in a note – so as to be able to overcome this moment of strong crisis as soon as possible, guaranteeing a future of rapid recovery in Sa Marigosa. If we all work together – they concluded – we can really make a difference. We therefore extend an affectionate thank you to all those who will accept our invitation."

Donations can be made to Sa Marigosa Soc. Cons.le ARL. Reason: Liberal donation - Fire 6 June 2024. The IBAN is: IT87 A010 151 74 000000 7086 7478.
