By car in a vineyard on Provincial Road 58, between Nuoro and Orgosolo

A road accident occurred this afternoon along the provincial road 58, which connects Nuoro to Orgosolo . An old Peugeot went off the road, overturned and ended up in a vineyard at the edge of the road .

The car was driven by a 19-year-old woman, originally from Lanusei , who lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be ascertained. The 118 health workers and a team of Firefighters promptly intervened on the scene, securing the area and providing first aid to the girl.

The young woman was transported to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro . Fortunately, her conditions are not worrying : she only suffered some bruises and slight dents.

The police have carried out surveys to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident. No other vehicles were involved.
