Ban on access to public places for the 33-year-old and the 65-year-old who had had a furious argument with each other in a bar in Ghilarza.
This was decided by the Police Commissioner of the province of Oristano.
During the clash, one of the two had pulled a switchblade from his pocket and stabbed the other in the side, requiring the intervention of the police who reported both to the judicial authorities.
Now they will no longer be able to enter public places in the municipalities of Ghilarza, Abbasanta and Norbello, or stay near the same commercial activities for a period of two years. If they violate the ban, they risk imprisonment from 1 to 3 years and a fine of 10 thousand to 24 thousand euros.
Since his inauguration in the province of Oristano, which took place on March 1, 2021, the Police Commissioner has issued 180 prevention measures, including, in addition to the two aforementioned measures, 77 Warnings for domestic violence and persecutory acts, 86 Oral Warnings, 14 in via Obligatori and a ban on access to sporting events. In the latter case the provision was issued against the manager of a football team: as a linesman, during a match valid for the Under 15 provincial youth championship, he had directed sexist insults at the young referee, and insulted and threatened footballers and visiting fans, "putting public order and safety at serious risk".
