Bonnanaro, two cars burned and flames inside a home: investigation underway

Two Fiat Pandas were burned and a fire was started inside a house yesterday in Bonnanaro. The arson attack occurred on the outskirts of town, requiring the intervention of firefighters and Carabinieri from the Torralba branch.
The two cars, owned by a 57-year-old rancher, were parked a short distance from the man's yard. The man, who had been away for several days, was not home. Neighbors raised the alarm when they saw the flames engulfing the two cars and immediately called the police.

The flames, in addition to destroying the cars, spread to the house, but the windows and doors, which remained closed, apparently prevented the fire from spreading outside. This allowed the fire to consume furniture and furnishings without anyone noticing, at least initially, what was happening inside the house. Investigators are conducting surveys and all necessary tests to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident.
