Bed spaces sold out at Brotzu , where a state of "health emergency" is declared. The general director, Agnese Foddis, denounces "an indiscriminate deprivation of assistance in the area" which leads to the "uncontrolled and ungovernable migration of users towards Arnas".

It happens that around Sardinia, departments close, even suddenly, because there are no doctors available. Furthermore, the filter of medical guards and family doctors is missing. Consequence: the largest hospital in Sardinia is collapsing.

The manager, with a series of communications sent to the President of the Region Alessandra Todde and to the Health Department, announced yesterday that she will turn to the Prefect of Cagliari, because healthcare in the Sardinian capital is at risk.

And something has moved: Armando Bartolazzi, the man at the helm of the Sardinian healthcare system, after having met Foddis, has decided to convene a summit: the general and healthcare directors of all the companies in Sardinia will be reunited next Tuesday. The communication arrived yesterday evening: no meetings today, nothing even at the weekend, Monday will be skipped. Urgent meeting, but not too much.

The objective, we read in a note from the department, "is to establish a technical table with the directors of the operational units most in difficulty for an organic collaboration with integrated interventions".
