Seven young people, all aged 15 and 16, are the subject of a precautionary measure issued by the investigating judge at the Juvenile Court of Cagliari, which the Carabinieri of the local Company executed in the early hours of the morning.
The boys are charged with various counts of aggravated assault, stalking, drug possession and dealing, domestic violence, threats, and possession of offensive weapons . Two have been placed in community care, four under house arrest, and another has been placed under a special order to adapt his rehabilitation program to specific precautionary requirements.
Analysis of computer devices, shadowing, analysis of video surveillance images, and searches have allowed us to build a solid evidentiary framework. The operation of February 20th proved crucial, when 14 house searches were carried out, confirming and strengthening the investigative hypotheses .
Between March 2025 and February 2026, the seven suspects allegedly committed systematic acts of violence, especially against peers. Violent beatings, including those involving knives, drug dealing, robberies, and muggings : a long trail of petty crimes, all perpetrated by the same individuals, according to investigators.
The persecution against an adult citizen of foreign origin was particularly intense, as he was subjected to harassment, threats, insults, stalking, and even outright ambushes . The suspects, according to reports, are all from Cagliari and its hinterland, and belong to families without any particular problems.
The investigation was conducted by the Operations Section of the Cagliari Company, in collaboration with the Judicial Police Sections of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza at the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. Investigators linked numerous pieces of evidence from various criminal proceedings and were able to reconstruct the ties between the suspects, all members of a youth gang that terrorized many of their peers for months.
