Breakthrough in the investigation into an attempted aggravated robbery which occurred in recent days in Piazza del Carmine, in Cagliari.
State Police agents managed to track down and arrest those responsible: they are two non-EU citizens of Tunisian origin.
The facts date back to June 8, when the two arrested had tried to tear a gold chain from the neck of a minor boy.
An episode similar to those that occurred in the last two months in the Marina district, which always saw minors as victims, whose perpetrators, in that circumstance of Algerian origin, had already been identified last week , in an operation also carried out by the State Police with the participation of the Carabinieri.
The two new arrests came at the end of the investigations conducted by the investigators of the second Section of the Flying Squad also through the examination of the video surveillance systems.
The images themselves - in addition to the clothes used during the robbery, found in the homes of the two suspects - allowed the investigators to put together enough evidence to trigger the handcuffs.
After being tracked down and blocked, the two Tunisians were accompanied to the police station, where, following further investigations, they were transferred to the Uta prison, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
