Attack in Tuili during the night: hundreds of photovoltaic panels destroyed
They were in an open-air warehouse, intended for the construction of a plantAttack during the night against a company that is to build a large photovoltaic plant in Tuili.
During the night, at around 4am in the “Pardu” area, unknown individuals set fire to an open-air warehouse where approximately 2000 panels had been stacked for the agrivoltaic system of the Greenvolt Power company, a Polish multinational that had purchased the plot of land for the construction of the project.
The firefighters from the Ales detachment intervened on site with colleagues from Cagliari: the damage, according to an initial estimate, is very extensive. The entire supply of panels was destroyed.
The Carabinieri of the Sanluri Radiomobile and the Barumini station are investigating the episode.
