She was captured by traffic police while traveling along State Road 131 at 194 kilometers per hour. The incident, which occurred a few days ago, involved a young woman living in the Oristano area.

The driver was traveling southbound on the Carlo Felice Highway when, at kilometer marker 116, in the Santa Cristina area of the municipality of Paulilatino, highway police officers spotted her speeding at nearly 200 miles per hour. They caught up with her and stopped her. In addition to a hefty fine, she also had her license revoked.

The woman is just one of the people stopped by the Highway Patrol in the Oristano area over the past weekend. During a patrol in the city , officers caught three young people, one of them a minor, selling and consuming marijuana. Two were reported to the Prefecture, and a 23-year-old was charged for possession of 25 grams of marijuana. An 18-year-old was also charged with driving under the influence: the young man had obtained his license only a few days before, but it was revoked.

Another man has gotten into trouble after being caught working illegally as a taxi driver. "In addition to heavy administrative fines," the traffic police said, "his driving license was immediately revoked and his vehicle was administratively seized for confiscation."
