The Extraordinary Commissioner Angelo Zuccarelli , recently appointed by the regional council, officially took up office this morning at the ASL Management headquarters in via Demurtas in Nuoro .
Upon taking office, Zuccarelli, accompanied by the outgoing general director Paolo Cannas, declared that "the commitment will be mainly aimed at implementing the actions within the scope of the tasks that the law approved by the Regional Council entrusts to the Extraordinary Commissioner". Among these is the " preparation of a plan for the reorganization and requalification of health and administrative services and a proposal for a care mission for each hospital-health facility ".
It will be - said Zuccarelli - an " approach based on dialogue and listening with local administrations, voluntary associations and third sector bodies ".
Angelo Zuccarelli, born in 1960, comes from the Antonio Cardarelli National and Highly Specialized Hospital Trust in Naples, where until a few days ago he held the role of director of the Complex Operating Unit of Immunohematology and Transfusion Medicine.
