Arson attack in Orune, a mini excavator destroyed

The fire that last night in Orune destroyed a mini excavator parked on a public works site was most likely arson.

The timely intervention by a team of firefighters arriving from Nuoro prevented this from spreading to other vehicles parked near or to the surrounding homes.

According to the initial findings carried out by the fire brigade technicians, the arson nature cannot be ruled out. The carabinieri of the town and of Bitti's company intervened on site and started the investigation.
