Area offices reopen to the public. The official announcement is accompanied by explanations on a piece of news that had already leaked in recent days: "It is a signal aimed at improving the relationship with our tenants and responds to a specific political direction by the new company administration", explains the sole director Matteo Sestu.
An emphasis that became necessary after, following a question from Fratelli d'Italia in the Regional Council, it emerged that the offices of the Regional Housing Agency were inaccessible because the restrictions introduced during the Covid period were still in force.
Now the news: from February 1st, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, users will be welcomed from 10.30 to 12 and from 15.30 to 16.30.
"This is a first step forward towards openness, constructive dialogue and listening to the needs of our users, who by going to our offices can directly ask questions about the services provided, report problems and receive clear and updated answers about our activity and our services", adds Sestu. Over time, he underlines, "we would like to introduce other tools for contacting tenants to speed up and simplify the procedures that involve them. It will be a process that will require a significant effort on our part and will certainly be received positively by tenants".
The regional councilor for Public Works, Antonio Piu, adds that "since my inauguration we have identified the opening to the public as an objective of this department, which from this moment becomes a reality throughout the regional territory. Area", concludes the representative of the Council, "needs to give immediate answers to all citizens".
