The procession through the city streets organized by the 25 April Committee and the Cagliari Anpi returns to Cagliari on the day in which the liberation of Italy from Nazi-fascism is commemorated.

The event will start at 9.30 in Piazza Garibaldi and then move to Via Sonnino for the institutional ceremony at the War Memorial at the Parco delle Rimembranze and end in Piazza del Carmine with speeches from the stage and music. The activists of the Sardinian Solidarity Committee with Palestine who write on Facebook "against war, genocide and state violence" will also participate in the procession. According to what we learn, at the moment no authorizations have been requested for counter-demonstrations.

The president of the Sardinia Region Alessandra Todde will be in her city, Nuoro, for the wreath-laying ceremony at 10am at the military shrine. The Anpi will also place a wreath of flowers on the tomb of the Nuoro partisan Antonio Mereu and a flower under the signs of the seven streets bearing the names of the Sardinian partisans. Sassari is also preparing to celebrate Liberation Day with a procession that will start from the Garibaldi hemicycle, at 9.30, and then head towards Piazza dei Partigiani and Partisans, where a wreath will be laid.
