Almost 5,000 medicines for people in need: the great heart of Cagliari and Southern Sardinia
Success for the latest Pharmaceutical Bank organized by Federfarma, which saw the participation of almost 50 local pharmacies and many citizens

Almost 5,000 packages of medicines collected, thanks to the hearts of citizens residing in the Cagliari area and southern Sardinia.
A record collection, that of Banco Farmaceutico 2024, which clearly surpassed the previous year's edition.
The data, released by Federfarma, does the talking. In the province of Cagliari and in southern Sardinia, 4,810 packages of medicines were delivered to volunteers during the initiative, which 49 pharmacies in the area took part in. A "loot" that was delivered to people in difficulty through 9 different welfare institutions.
Numbers, as mentioned, on the increase, given that in 2023 3587 medicines had been collected and 42 pharmacies had participated.
«Thanks to all those who donated a medicine to those in difficulty. Together we make the difference!", wrote Federfarma Cagliari on its Facebook profile to pay homage to all those who wanted to contribute.
