Serious aggression yesterday on the sweet milk field, in Sassari, against the local president of the national referees association , Emanuele Fresi . The episode took place almost at the end of the Allievi championship match between the home team and that of Alghero.

For much of the match, a person allegedly insulted the 18-year-old referee from the stands with insulting phrases, threatening him, among other things, to wait for him outside. Adding: “And you will see what happens to you”.

At this point Fresi took a photograph of the author of the phrases who noticed it and would have taken him by the collar of his jacket, then pushed him back yelling at him: “Let me see your cell phone”. The president would then have moved but would have been chased by the same person, then stopped by others present.

The episode did not, however, put an end to everything because Fresi, having reached the clearing between the grandstand and the car park, would have been surrounded and a young man would have repeatedly tried to hit him with empty fists, pronouncing, according to the manager, words such as "I'll break your c ...".

At that point Emanuele Fresi called the state police who arrived with two cars .

This morning at the police station the complaint of the president of the national referees association for threats and beatings.

REACTIONS - Alghero Calcio in a note "wants to specify that it is completely unrelated to the facts ". The company "once again distances itself from certain attitudes that it strongly condemns ", "they are nothing short of - the document reads - far from sporting and corporate values".

"We want to declare our distance from these episodes - comment the managers of the youth sector of the Latte Dolce Academy - which are far not only from football but above all from sport".
