Alghero, the drink dispensers in the faculty of Architecture have been broken into: thieves go away with a few pennies
Meager booty for criminals, damage to the faculty of the University of Sassari
They unhinged the door of the architecture faculty in Alghero and once they entered the premises they broke into two vending machines for food and drinks, running away with a meager booty.
It happened last night in the Institute of Architecture of the University of Sassari which is based in Alghero in Piazza Santa Croce.
The thieves first broke a window to enter the municipal library where they forced a food machine collecting a few coins then, not happy, they unhinged a window and tampered with the lock of the entrance door of the faculty, inside which they broke into a other distributor.
The criminals took away a few coins and, perhaps, the fear of being discovered led them to flee without being able to steal more material. The noises, in fact, woke up the neighbors who gave the alarm. The carabinieri of the Alghero company arrived on the spot and carried out the surveys and heard some useful testimonies for the investigations.
