Following the leak of sewage in the Mercato del Primo Pescato in Alghero, Mayor Raimondo Cacciotto signed an order for a temporary closure of three days (16-17-18 December) to allow for interventions to restore the hygienic-sanitary conditions of the port structure.
In fact, last December 12th, in conjunction with a heavy downpour, there were episodes of sewage rising from the sewage pipes which flooded the interior of the market.
A serious emergency situation immediately denounced, with photos and videos, by the president of the Environment commission, Christian Mulas, who had urged the local authority to take action.
The remediation and remediation interventions will be carried out by the Municipal Administration.
