Serious accident along the provincial road 105 that connects Alghero with Bosa.

A 76-year-old pensioner , driving his Hyundai i10, was injured just three kilometers from the entrance to the Catalan city. He was traveling along the provincial road when, due to the asphalt made slippery by the pouring rain, he lost control of the vehicle and ended up against the guardrail . The car was destroyed in the impact.

The firefighters, 118 and the local police of Alghero intervened on the spot, who carried out the surveys of the accident. To the health workers the pensioner immediately seemed serious, even if he remained conscious .

The intervention of the air ambulance was requested, but then, having assessed the clinical conditions of the 76-year-old, it was decided to transport him to the hospital in Alghero with an ambulance.
