The final journey of Alessandra Cottu , the 13-year-old girl who tragically died on Monday in Rome where she was hospitalized following a terrible road accident on the outskirts of Nuoro , is about to take place.

Tonight the grieving family will leave Civitavecchia to take Alessandra home to Ollolai, where her body will arrive at her home tomorrow morning (Thursday, September 25).

The funeral was announced by the town's parish priest, Don Franco Pala: the funeral will be held on Friday, September 26th at 3:30 pm in the parish church of San Michele Arcangelo.

The entire community of Ollolai gathers around the Cottu family in this moment of immense grief. Mayor Franco Columbu has already announced a day of mourning, and the community is preparing to welcome young Alessandra for a final farewell.

A tragedy that has struck not only the country, but also those who knew the smile and sweetness of such a young girl, whose life was cut short too soon.
