Agriculture: Thousands of people gathered in Cagliari with Coldiretti: "Businesses need liquidity."
The procession, led by one hundred mayors and about twenty tractors, will travel along Viale Trieste and Via Roma and will stop under the Regional Council building, where the group leaders will receive a delegationOne hundred mayors and three thousand Coldiretti members took to the streets of Cagliari 's Viale Trento for the large demonstration organized by the association for the future of Sardinia's productive sector, and to demand answers from the institutions regarding the main emergencies that are putting the regional agricultural system under extreme pressure.
In particular, Coldiretti director Luca Saba explained before the procession set off, the call is for the unblocking of CAP procedures.
"Between rain and rising diesel and fertilizer prices, we think businesses need liquidity ."
To be precise, Coldiretti is asking for "the allocation of forty million already in the next budget variation , but also for an intervention on the continuity of goods and a clear policy on water".
