Accident on Highway 554: Father and 13-year-old son hospitalized. Traffic stalled.

Another hellish morning for motorists needing to reach Cagliari: due to an accident on state highway 554, in Monserrato, near the Emanuela Loi bridge, heading towards state highway 131, traffic has come to a complete standstill.

Three people were involved in the collision. The driver of a car was uninjured, while the other two, a father and his 13-year-old son, were taken to the hospital by emergency services (yellow code).

After the accident, a kilometer-long queue immediately formed, and the traffic jam also affected road 387. Law enforcement and emergency services were on site.
