Giovanni Ladu, a 79-year-old pensioner from Nuoro, died after being seriously injured in a road accident on February 2nd on State Road 131, near Santa Cristina, in Paulilatino.

The elderly man was driving the Ford Ecosport, which overturned and ended up in a ditch. His wife, who was injured in the impact, was sitting next to him.

Giovanni Ladu died during the night at the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro, where he had been hospitalized in critical condition since the first moment.

Emergency vehicles and the Oristano Highway Police arrived at the scene of the accident and carried out the investigation.
