The celebration for the arrival of the knights and the new priors at San Francesco di Lula was disturbed by an accident that occurred to one of the knights immediately after entering the sanctuary.

The horse, led by a jockey whose name is not known, appears to have slipped on the pavement, also causing the rider to fall and hit his head. Immediately getting up and getting back on the horse, the man, a forty-year-old from Nuoro, immediately felt ill which made people fear the worst, so much so that the intervention of the air ambulance was necessary to transport him to the San Francesco hospital. .

The condition of the injured person is not known at the moment but it does not appear to be serious.
