A fire destroyed a car in the center of Abbasanta . The Carabinieri of Ghilarza are investigating the episode.
The flames broke out around 2: a Ford Fiesta, belonging to a man from Ortueri, was parked in via Napoli and was engulfed in fire within minutes.
The alarm was immediately raised, the firefighters of the Abbasanta detachment immediately arrived in via Napoli, but the Fiesta was practically destroyed. The fire was also fueled by tens of meters of construction site plastic tape inside the vehicle .
Investigations are underway to establish the cause of the fire, at the moment no traces of ignition have been found .
The carabinieri of the Ghilarza company also intervened on the spot.
