Cars that had been abandoned for some time in Quartucciu on Via Salvo D'Acquisto and in the parking lots of the "Le Vele" shopping center have been removed . A total of 15 vehicles were removed , including three burned vehicles and several vehicles that had been left parked for years. The operation, planned for some time, was conducted by the Municipal Police to protect the environment and combat the phenomenon of abandoned vehicles on public land, which could endanger residents.

Specifically, on Via Salvo D'Acquisto , officers found three cars abandoned for over ten years. After verifying the owner, the police obtained permission to remove the vehicles. At the "Le Vele" shopping center , four cars were found (and removed) with missing tires and body parts, becoming veritable open-air landfills.

The police remind us that abandoning vehicles on public property is a violation of the law that can result in hefty fines and potential liability for environmental damage. The commander of the Local Police, Fabio Carboni, in conjunction with the city administration, declares his commitment to protecting urban decorum and citizen safety, continuing to work consistently "to return public spaces to the community."
The Commander also expresses heartfelt thanks to the Local Police officers for the valuable work they carry out daily, with professionalism and dedication, serving the community and the territory.
