A work-related accident occurred this morning at a construction site on Via Vesalio, in Pirri.

A 45-year-old worker from Lanusei, employed by a local company, who was engaged in construction on a building at the end of the road, near Terramaini Park, fell from a height of approximately two meters after losing his balance.

The injured man suffered pelvic injuries: after being stabilized by the 118 emergency services on site , he was transported to Brotzu with a red code.

After initial checks, although his condition is not serious, it emerged that his life is not in danger.

The Carabinieri of the Pirri station have begun investigations to reconstruct the accident and verify compliance with all workplace safety regulations, in collaboration with the Spresal staff of the Cagliari Local Health Authority.
