Allocated 750 thousand euros for the modernization of the purification plant in Flussio and a new wastewater lifting system in Tinnura.

Egas has given the green light to the Abbanoa technicians' project for the redevelopment of the water and sewerage service in the two municipalities of Planargia. It is now immediately appliable.

The works can be carried out thanks to regional funding as envisaged in the intervention program of the "Regional Infrastructure Plan" and will allow the two plants to be adapted to current standards as well as guaranteeing lower management costs and a service calibrated on the basis of current needs of the population, which grows especially in the summer.

The current purification plant in Tinnura will be definitively decommissioned and a new sewage lifting system will be built which will allow the transfer directly to the neighboring purification plant in Flussio, which is undergoing a massive revamping operation.

In fact, the intervention on the purifier provides for the renewal of the various components of the plant to make it possible to manage a greater flow of waste, it will also be less energy-intensive - and therefore less onerous - and in line with current provisions on environmental matters.

A single plant will therefore serve the two neighboring towns with a cutting-edge and sustainable service.

"It is an intervention that the two communities of Planargia have been waiting for for some time and which will allow the two centers to have a modernized and ecological service", says the president of Egas Fabio Albieri.
