The adventures of three children who stumble upon a missing map unearthed from the past, and their adventures amidst puzzles, mysteries, labyrinths, and mysterious figures, are the ingredients of "The Lost Map. Mystery of San Saturnino," a children's book written by Venetian author Stella Nosella and illustrated by Sardinian artist Evelise Obinu, published by Camena Edizioni. The book will be presented on Thursday, October 22nd at 5:30 PM in the Basilica of San Saturnino in Cagliari.

The protagonists' adventure begins right in the Basilica. The three end up underground and, thanks to a mysterious map that guides them along the way, they begin to explore the subterranean world, exploring tunnels, secret passages, and glimpses that still exist today.

The book, aimed at children aged six and up, is a journey of discovery through the history and archaeology of Cagliari and the Basilica of San Saturnino: a 'map', like that of the protagonists, that can be used to better understand Cagliari's origins and the curiosities of one of its most evocative monuments.

In addition to the story, an illustrated educational section has been included, with texts edited by the Basilica staff, in which San Saturnino and the three protagonists tell the story of the Basilica, its history and the many secrets still hidden among its stones.

The project was born from an initiative by the Regional Directorate of National Museums in Sardinia and was developed in collaboration with Tuttestorie and with the support of the Municipality of Cagliari. It is published in agreement with In altre parole, Angela Catrani's literary agency and editorial services. On Thursday, October 22nd, at the Basilica of San Saturnino, the two authors will meet with adults and children to share the genesis of the book and all the interesting facts it contains.

Melissa Ricetti, director of the Regional Directorate of National Museums of Sardinia, and Patrizia Tomassetti, director of the Basilica of San Saturnino, will be present.
