Unauthorized parking and fines on the Quartu stretch of Poetto beach . As is often the case at weekends, some beachgoers, trying to secure a spot on the beach and avoid paying the ticket for parking in the blue lines, have left their cars near intersections, in disabled parking spaces without authorization, and even on the traffic islands in front of La Marinella.

The chaos required the intervention of local police officers to restore some order: in total, there were about ten fines issued on a scorching August Saturday, with countless people taking refuge on the beach in search of some relief. Some time ago, cars had even been parked inside the large Bussola roundabout. Yet a few weeks ago, an additional area with about a hundred parking spaces in front of the Lido Mediterraneo was made available, and the dirt road in front of La Marinella remains open pending upcoming redevelopment work . But even this summer, which is about to be archived, hasn't been an easy one in terms of parking.

As always, the biggest problems arose at Mari Pintau, with cars parked on the side of the road, even on bends, increasing the risk of accidents. They also occurred in the space designated for the bus that transports swimmers from Via Beethoven. Here, too, the police had to intervene several times.
