A robbery failed overnight inside an electrical and industrial systems shop in the industrial area of Elmas.

It was just after midnight when the video surveillance cameras captured six criminals, their faces covered by balaclavas, who, after having forced open the entrance gate, were wandering around the company's forecourt, armed with burglary tools, rummaging through parked vehicles.

Their intrusion was intercepted by the security apparatus of the security company Alarm System: the operations center placed a call to the police while a security guard was dispatched to the scene.

Upon his arrival, the thieves immediately fled. The images revealed the license plate of one of the cars: a white Panda, later confirmed as stolen.

Using the same model of vehicle and the same methods, a group of thieves (perhaps the same one, as there were six of them back then) had carried out a raid on Rafco, in Via dell'Agricoltura in Cagliari, on November 9th to steal the safe : in that case too, the attack was foiled by the intervention of a security guard.
