Caught driving a stolen car with 10 grams of cocaine on board. Carabinieri officers from the Dolianova Mobile Radio Unit, during a patrol last night, reported an unemployed 40-year-old man, residing in Serdiana and already known to the police, as the alleged perpetrator of receiving stolen goods and possession with intent to distribute narcotics.

The operation was triggered during a check at a service station, when the Carabinieri noticed the man in a small car. Suspicious, the officers approached the vehicle and identified the driver and vehicle. Databases confirmed the identity immediately: the vehicle was stolen, reported last February in Tortolì.

During subsequent checks and searches of the person and vehicle, the Carabinieri officers also found several grams of cocaine, which were immediately seized along with the stolen car, which will be returned to its rightful owner.
