A newborn baby, just seven days old, born with heart problems, was transported this evening from Cagliari to Milan with a Falcon 50 aircraft of the 31st Wing departing from Ciampino. This was announced by the Air Force.

The child, whose life was in danger, had to be transported extremely urgently and promptly from the "Duilio Casula" University Hospital of Monserrato, where he was hospitalized, to the San Donato Milanese Hospital to receive specific treatment.

The flight, which boarded the baby at Elmas airport, accompanied by family members and a medical team, left for Milan Linate airport, from where the newborn was quickly taken to the destination hospital.
