Drama in the waters of Cala Gonone, in Dorgali . A man drowned around 7pm.

The 38-year-old, of Indian nationality, was seen floundering, perhaps following an illness. The bathers on the beach of Palmasera immediately raised the alarm by calling 118.

The helicopter rescue arrived on the spot with the emergency doctors, who tried in every way to revive the tourist, but everything was useless. The man died in the arms of the rescuers.
