The Sardinian Under-21 team finished a solid tenth at the Gran Premio delle Regioni, with Tommaso Fois just missing out on the podium in the H110 pony event. The island's talented riders had a more than positive experience competing at the 127th edition of the Fieracavalli in Verona, with a strong finish in the team competition involving teams from 18 regions.
Team chef Alessandro Anedda led the team of Marco Pala (riding Chicago Chicago), Sofia Zara (on Chandler de Nyze Z), Sofia Collu (on Indigo Van Het Taubershof), Anita Putzu (on Jakarta) and Antonio Meloni (on Cesarus), who also achieved a respectable 16th place individually in a competition with 41 entrants.
The Sardinian team fared less well in the EQUESTRO – H100,105,110,115 Pony Regions Cup. Under the guidance of instructor Emanuele Baldinu, Lorenzo Iriu (riding Iside), Svea Stella Lena Carus (on Maggiolino), Rachele Marras (on Spirit), and Tommaso Fois (on Evona) competed. Fois came very close to third place in the EQUITATUS – H110 Pony Champions Cup standings, just three points behind the two pairs who tied for second place.
