The Carnival UK group returns to Sardinia. The news comes from Miami where Seatrade Cruise Global, the international fair dedicated to the cruise industry, is taking place. And Sardinia brings its potential to Fort Lauderdale, thanks to the presence of Massimo Deiana, Adsp president, and Valeria Mangiarotti, marketing manager, also to make agreements and deal with the new trends in the sector. For this year the ships in the Mediterranean will be fewer but the number of passengers will grow exponentially.

Another novelty: as early as October 2023, Costa Cruises will return to the Olbia port of the Isola Bianca with the Pacifica, for an exploratory call aimed at probing customer satisfaction with a new type of tour. As well as confirmations from the company also arrive for the port of call of Santa Giusta - Oristano: two, currently, the berthings scheduled for the current season, again as a test for a scheduling on Sardinian ports that could grow by adding to the 27 berths already consolidated on Cagliari.

And, again, confirmations on current and future programming also by MSC (currently present only in Olbia), Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Seadream Yacht Club, and Salenship.

«The return to attendance at the most important international cruise market fair has restored optimism and given the right boost to the promotional activity of the institution which, for the last three years, has continued in any case under the radar through the only contact channels allowed by the health protocols - explains Massimo Deiana - It is a moment of particular turmoil for the sector, of the search for novelties and the desire for entertainment for an increasingly demanding clientele. Dynamics that reconcile well with our strengths, with ports and territories still unexplored and infrastructurally ready to welcome the ships present in the Mediterranean. We therefore conclude this first experience of normality positively and continue our business with renewed enthusiasm, strengthened by new agreements and important stimuli for the development, in the airports of competence, of a sector which, as early as 2023, we are sure will give great results". .
