Sardinia Open, Italians protagonists in the qualifiers

On his debut, a convincing Cecchinato beat the Japanese Tatsuma Ito 6-0, 6-2. A fairly smooth victory also for Passaro, a double 6-3 to the Austrian Luca Miedler, while Samuele Pieri challenged Pellegrino, before losing 4-6, 6-2, 6-0.
Say hello to the Federico Salomone company. The Tc Terranova representative, wild here after winning the Open on the same courts last week, lost 6-2, 6-4 against the Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo, a member of the host club.
