«Let's say it's a Freudian slip, a sign of a basic inner problem. It is not the first time that Europe has forgotten the islands, and not only on the maps».

With these words the president of the Region Christian Solinas commented on the exclusion of Sardinia from the map displayed at the entrance to the meeting room of the pavilion seat of the leaders of the Swedish presidency of the European Union.

«But not only Sardinia is missing - underlines Solinas - other islands are also missing, precisely those with which Sardinia, as leader, has launched a political and institutional alliance to see the rights of our territories and our over 20 million citizens".

"Let's not dramatize this oversight, I hope involuntary - concludes the governor - but it is certainly not a good sign".
