Tourist Sardinia receives flattering recognition. In recent days at Palazzo Madama he collected eight blue stickers which certify as quality festivals eight events held last year on the island. The award announced by the National Union of Italian Pro Loco (45 awards in total at national level) went to polenta from Arborea, suckling pig from Baunei, snails from Ossi, longevity minestrone from Perdasdefogu, bread from Sanluri, ham from Talana, rennet and goat meat from Urzulei and olives from Villamassargia.

Leading the Sardinian delegation in Rome, in the Koch Hall of the Senate of the Republic, is the regional president of the Unpli Raffaele Sestu, proud "to receive this prestigious recognition that the Unpli has been giving to this party for more than ten years", says Sestu. «It is an important prize for which we have had enormous feedback, resisting clumsy attempts at imitation».

The lion's share is Ogliastra, which has seen three festivals recognized for their quality (Baunei, Perdasdefogu and Urzulei). And the administrators of Baunei did not fail to celebrate the success on the Municipality's institutional Facebook profile. However, satisfaction is also shared by the other towns in Sardinia that have achieved the quality mark for their festivals. The satisfaction was shared by the mayors and presidents of the Pro Loco of the awarded countries, also present in Rome.

The days in the Senate were defined by Unpli as «a record-breaking ceremony for the fourth edition of the project born in 2019 and which to date has certified 117 events with the “quality festival” brand, a seal assigned to events with the most 5 years of age and which respect the criteria of product typicality, sustainability, safety and food hygiene.
