Sardinia at Vinitaly with 71 wineries: "A growing and constantly updated sector"

Sardinia Region present at the 54th edition of Vinitaly with 71 wineries, all excellences of the Sardinian wine sector.

The Sardinian stand - more than 1,700 square meters in pavilion 8 of Veronafiere - includes, in addition to the institutional space, an entire area dedicated to the Collective Sardinia, with 71 wineries selected by the Department of Agriculture.

The exhibition contains elements that reflect the vegetation, colors and materials of the island's landscape, with the slogan “The imprint of a territory, the soul of a land”. Various identifying elements of Sardinia are reported to represent its wealth not only enological and landscape, but also cultural and architectural. Among these, the Giants of Mont'e Prama, the symbols of the Nuragic civilization and the typical weaving of the island's carpets.

Solinas speaks of "an important opportunity to promote the high quality of our products and show entrepreneurial realities that are conquering ever more consistent market shares".

“Sardinia presents itself at this event - explains the Councilor for Agriculture, Gabriella Murgia - with a selection of excellent quality wines and cellars with a strong territorial connotation. The sector, characterized by the existence of areas historically suited to quality productions and with well-established brands, is growing and constantly updated thanks to the commitment of all the entrepreneurial realities and the constant support of the Region ".

During the four days of the event, the institutional area will host a rich calendar of events focused on the presentation and guided tasting of wines accompanied by typical Sardinian products and in-depth events of the most representative vines of Sardinia, with the live testimony of producers and experts.
