There's a precise moment when a dream stops being locked away in a drawer and decides to present itself, without knocking, in front of millions of people. For Sara Pireddu, that moment came last Wednesday evening, live on Rai 1, when her name was called in the studio of "Affari Tuoi," the record-breaking game show hosted by Stefano De Martino.

Twenty-seven years old, Sara, from Macomer, an accountant in her aunt's office , is the new contestant called to represent Sardinia on one of the most popular programs on Italian television. An emotional debut, but also the natural culmination of a journey of passions cultivated with discretion and perseverance.

Singing, first and foremost, was a family tradition, learned almost by osmosis thanks to her father, a singer, with whom she would sing "Acqua e Sale" as a child, transforming the living room into a mini stage. Now Sara is embarking on an adventure she'll never forget, filled with packages, crucial decisions, and the pride of bringing a piece of Sardinia to the small screen .

His artistic roots are in music. "My father used to perform with 'I Varie Età'."

At six years old, her first "stage" was the attic at home, then her choice: "I studied piano at the civic school, six years at the conservatory, and then opera singing." A journey, full of hard work and discipline, which naturally led her to an audience: "The first stages came along, and I never stopped."

Music also remains a family bond that endures over time. "Today, my father and I have an 883 tribute band." Alongside singing, a career in fashion also took shape, born as a personal challenge.

"I was very shy. Everyone told me I was beautiful and tall, even though I still don't see myself that way." Putting myself out there became a choice for growth: "I wanted to gain confidence." From there, the pageants, "Miss Universe in Sardinia took me to the semifinals," then photo shoots, fashion shows with Venus Dea, and the first calls from stylists.

Sara Pireddu is currently in Rome to film episodes of "Affari Tuoi," an experience she's long dreamed of.

"It's a show I've been watching since I was a child. When applications opened, I always checked, and Sardinia was never there." The turning point came in the summer: "In August, I sent a video, then the casting call was in November. They hired me in December."

Once inside, the emotions go beyond what you see at home. "You're thrown into a group, you spend your days with the same people, it becomes like family in the dressing room." It's an intense experience, even on a human level. But what struck her most is the affection she's received from the island: "The most beautiful thing is the support from my hometown: posts, stories, messages, everyone has supported me."

While the television experience is already a milestone, for Sara it represents above all a starting point. "If I were to win a good sum of money, I'd like to become more independent, leaving my parents' house: for us young people these days, that's not easy." Then there's the desire to invest in herself and her passions. "Something's already developing: my single will be released soon, and I'd like to invest in a nice music video." Whatever the outcome, the "Affari Tuoi" adventure has already sparked new possibilities.
