The opposition attacks the Meloni government after the revelations about the alleged “ghost consultant” of the Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano.

This is Maria Rosaria Boccia, an entrepreneur and influencer from Campania who last August 27 “proclaimed” herself on social media as “advisor to the minister for major events”, something that was denied by the ministry.

But now an email has emerged, anticipated by La Stampa and published by Dagospia, regarding the organization of the G7 Culture scheduled in Pompeii from September 19 to 21: a document with “sensitive” content - also because it refers to the movements and safety of the ministers involved - which is also addressed “for information” to Boccia.

All hell broke loose. The entire minority is asking the Ministry and the Government to clarify, while Italia Viva says it is also ready to present a motion of no confidence against Sangiuliano.

"Is the G7 Culture still safe?" asks instead the leader of the Democratic Party in the Culture Committee of the Chamber Irene Manzi, also inviting the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to carry out "all the necessary checks" to explain why the Campania entrepreneur, if it is true that she is not a consultant to Sangiuliano, is among the recipients of the email with sensitive content. On the contrary, the invitation of the Democratic Party, the executive must admit the "serious flaws in the organization" and the minister "come out of the silence and explain in the institutional offices all the contours of this opaque affair of the nomination of one of his advisors, never formalized, who was allowed (these are the rumors circulating, ed.) to participate in internal meetings of the administration, inspections for the definition of important aspects related to the security and organization of the G7 and institutional missions".

Again, "how long will Meloni cover for Sangiuliano?", ask the M5S group leaders in the Senate and Chamber of Deputies Culture Committees, Pirondini and Caso.
