The institutional advertising campaign "Portala nel Cuore", conceived by the Excise, Customs and Monopoly Agency (Adm), in collaboration with the Sardinia Region, to raise public awareness against the theft of sand on Sardinian beaches, received a Rome the special "Environment" prize in the "Smartphone d'oro" competition organized by PAsocial.

61 public administrations participated.

The Smartphone d'oro award, in its second edition, was created to give recognition to the best public experiences of communication, information, services to citizens through web and social platforms.

"From the moment when the territorial management of Tuscany, Sardinia and Umbria had the intuition, thanks to Giovanni Polinas of the Adm Office of Sassari-SOT in Olbia, to carry out the Portala nel Cuore campaign - explains Roberto Chiara, director of the management territorial - there was a great push to make this completely new initiative possible for us and for the Adm, which places the accent on an environmental issue, that is, on the ugly habit of removing shells and pebbles from the coasts. the people directly involved in Florence, Cagliari and Olbia made it possible to create a very meaningful and heartfelt campaign for Sardinia ”.

"The award assigned - continues Roberto Chiara - is a source of great satisfaction for all of us. Caterina Murino, Geppi Cucciari and Luigi Datome, three personalities particularly linked to Sardinia and very sensitive to environmental issues, have joined the initiative by lending themselves to the construction of four different commercials broadcast, with subtitles in Italian and English, on the most important Sardinian radio and television broadcasters, on the social channels of Adm and the Sardinia Region, on the screens of some of the main Italian ports, airports and railway stations, on the monitors present on board the ferries in service on routes to and from Sardinia.
